Contact Groups allow for Contacts to be organised into logical groups that can then be used to filter reports. A common example of where this may be of value is a group for each sales person, then, when viewing reports, reconciliations (for example) could be displayed per sales team Contact Group to see total volume of sales for all Clients in the group.
There is no limitation to the number of Clients that can be placed in a Contact Group, nor to the number of Contact Groups that can be created. Also, Contacts may be allocated to multiple Contact Groups. For example, you may have a Contact Group per sales manager, as well as a Contact Group per region, which contain different Contacts. Client Company A may appear in both a sales manager Contact Group, as well as a region Contact Group.
Contact groups can be deleted by clicking the delete icon on the Contact Groups list page.
