The General Admin screen allows you to edit application settings in order to customise your SimplyFi instance.
Customisable Features available include the following
Permissions allow you to set the Gemini Global Group that has access to SimplyFi. By default SimplyFi is set to allow “Gemini Administrators” access. To change this create a new Global Group in Gemini, add the applicable Gemini Users and set the Group Name here.
The Document configuration section allows you to set prefixes for your Invoices, Quotes & Credit Notes. Also available here is the ability to override the default locks for deletion of Documents that have been issued to Clients.
The Currency section allows you to specify whether you want to use the automated feeds from www.themoneyconverter.com to keep your foreign exchange rates up to date. Note that if you are using only a single Currency we recommend you leave the “Use FXRate Feed” switched off.
The Reminder configuration section allows you to specify a From Name and From Email Address for all your Reminders, this will override the default Gemini From Email Address and name so your financial notifications can be set to something unique. (e.g. your accounts team).
By setting an email address in the “Reminder Debug” field, all Reminder emails, regardless of the Client they are intended for, will be sent to this address instead of the actual Client themselves. This is to allow you to test your Email Templates and or your Reminder configuration before taking this live.
The Reminder CC and Reminder BCC fields allow you to set an email address that will be CC’d or BCC’d to all emails sent as automatic notifications. This is useful for a credit controller, or accounts team that need to be aware of all Client notifications as and when they are sent.
The Dashboard configuration allows you to customise the way you see your summary data and financial statistics.
Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) can be set to calculate as a rolling figure X number of months back, or as a figure for the previous or current Financial year.
Dashboard widgets can be customised to display a preferred number of Clients or Documents dependant on the applicable widget.
Finally, Links to Documents can be set to generate a print preview of the Document, or return a PDF version of the Document.
